In the Media

On 25th September, 2020, The Child Rights Trust (IMAGE Project partner), organised the state level advocacy workshop at Bagepalli taluk, Chikkaballapura district. Ms. M.L Raghunath, District Chief Advocating Officer inaugurated the workshop. The workshop was organised to create awareness on the prevention of Child Marriage and sensitise different laws enforcement officials about the need to stop child marriages. A life skill manual handbook was also released during the event. The news was covered in local Kannada newspapers, Prajavani and Vijayavanni.

On 21st January 2020, the Kannada newspaper, Prabha,  published an article about the life of IMAGE project’s early married girls from Chikkaballapura district after their child marriage.

The article narrates the status of child marriage and how our early married girls are inspired by IMAGE to lead a better life.
